James Joseph Plassio, 83, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania  passed away January 11, 2019  at Chambersburg Hospital. . He was born on June 18, 1935  in Herminie,  Pennsylvania  to Anthony J.  and Helen C.  (Colerick) Plassio.  He was a veteran of the U.S.Army, having served 22 years.  He served as Personel Director at South Mountain Restoration Center for twelve years..  
     He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bonnie L. (Prailey) Plassio and their three sons:  Vaughn (husband of Audrey) Plassio of Dillsburg, Darrell (husband of Jenny), Wormelsdorf, PA, Lance (husband of Stacey) Plassio of Chambersburg.  He has five grandchildren and one great-grandson.  
     Services are private and at the convenience of the family.

Thinking of all of you during this difficult time. We have many fond memories of living across the street from you. Matt and his “Jimmy HaHa” and driving you crazy wanting to “come Oder!” , 4th of July sparklers and the burn on the leg! Prayers and warm hugs.

Sorry to hear about Mr. Plassios's passing. I worked with him when I 1st started at SMRC and I had a lot of respect for him. My thoughts are with the family.
