  Douglas Wayne Werdebaugh 76 of Hagerstown, MD went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2019 at Chambersburg Hospital due to lung cancer. He was born on November 24, 1942 in Martinsburg WV to Henry and Fannie (Fogle) Werdebaugh.

    He served two terms in the U S Navy as a Radioman Third Class. He retired from Angstrohm Vishay in Hagerstown.
    He is survived by his nephew Dan and his wife Carla Werdebaugh whom were his caregivers. He is also survived by his sister in law Patricia Werdebaugh, three nieces Tavonna Lebre, Cheryl Clipp and Patricia Peterson and one other nephew David R. Werdebaugh. 

    He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers David, William and Alfred and his wife Gloria. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Ltd. Chambersburg has been entrusted with conducting private services. Online

I worked with Doug for several years while at Angstrohm Precision, and found him to be very pleasant. He performed some very precise tasks, dealt with X-ray inspections, and made very precise silk screens for printing resistor networks. All will miss him. My condolences to his family.

Our Dear Uncle Doug. What a truly Wonderful Man. We love you dearly and will miss you sadly. May God BLESS you in Heaven as you did so many people when you were physically with us. Your kindness to everyone that came in contact with you and that AWESOME smile that could light up any room and brighten the dreariest of days. You are in a wonderful place where you will be in peace for all eternity. We are so sad to have lost you, but Heaven is blessed to have you.
