Music by The Piano Brothers

Hannah Catherine Young Estep, 19, of Chambersburg, PA passed away February 18, 2019 at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born on June 24, 1999 in Chambersburg to Richard W. Estep and Autumn R. Young. In addition to her parents, Hannah is survived by her sister Bobbi J Washabaugh (wife of William) and grandparents Cheryl D Young, Larry C Young and Dennis R Hurley (husband of Carla.) She was preceded in death by her brother Jason R Estep.

Hannah had a deep, adoring love for babies and animals. She could spend hours shopping and loved all things food - including cooking. She enjoyed the beach, lunches with her dad, 4-H, taking photos, movies, writing, painting, reading and music was always close at hand.

Hannah had the loudest, most infectious laugh, could make anyone smile and from the time she could talk she never met a stranger. Hannah was always a determined and head strong child and like everything else in life she met her addiction head on. Although she hit roadblocks, stumbled and fell she always refused to give up. She tried many times over to beat her demon, but in the end her disease took her. Hannah so often said, she desperately wanted to live a sober life, as so many do.

Hannah wasn't given enough time here with us, yet she continues to make us proud by selflessly donating her organs and giving other families more time with their loved ones. OUR ANGEL WILL LIVE ON.

The family will receive friends at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg, PA for a Celebration of her life on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 6 - 8 PM. Funeral services will be at The Storehouse Community, 3845 Buchanan Trail West in Greencastle, PA on Tuesday, February 26 at 11 a.m. with guests and John Lloyd. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gracie's Place, 635 South 4th Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Thank you for your support.

I know from your posting and from Kay that Hannah touched many. There are few words for a loss of any child and addiction claims many. I am saddened by your loss but I am inspired by Hannah’s desires to help others. May God be with you and give Hannah rest from the fight.

My heart is broken. I am so very sorry you’ve lost your Hannah. She was so beautiful and such a fun kid to have as a neighbor. I loved seeing her ride by on her pink scooter. Thinking of all of you.

So very sorry your beautiful young daughter was lost to this horrible disease. It sounds like she put up a good fight. Her disease does not define her though. She sounds like a wonderful young person. God rest her soul and God Bless you all.
