Ronald L. Griffith, 81, of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania passed away at home surrounded by family on April 12, 2024. He was born on September 1, 1942, in Keedysville, Maryland to the late Raleigh Griffith and Thelma (Hoffman) Griffith Talhelm. Ronald graduated from Greencastle Antrim High School and went on to serve our country for 8 years with the United States Air Force. He was a truck driver for 37 years and retired from Martin's Famous Pastry. He was an avid train enthusiast and enjoyed working on his two 1966 Ford Mustangs, and loved painting and creating scenery in his train room.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Appolonia Griffith, they have 2 children Erik Griffith and Lori (wife of Terry) Gontz; 4 grandchildren Destiny Griffith (significant other of Michael Sharp), Tyler Gontz, Mariah Griffith, and Makayla Griffith; 4 great grandchildren, Aliyah, Josie, Logan, and Adaline; 2 brothers Robert and Gary Talhelm; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Gene Griffith and Roger Talhelm and step-father Harry Talhelm.
