Mendel Crunkleton Obituary

Mendel Glen Crunkleton , 76, of Fayetteville passed away December 27, 2019 at Harrisburg Hospital. He was born on December 18, 1943 in Chambersburg to the late Arthur and Betty (Pugh) Crunkleton . Mendel is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jacquelyn (Knoll) Crunkleton. He is also survived by children Aaron Crunkleton of Chambersburg and CoLyn Crunkleton Statler (Greg) of Newville. He has 5 grandchildren; Keaira, Deja, Devaughna, Chloie, Waylon and cousin Doug Angle.

He was a US Air Force Veteran of 20+ years, having served in Vietnam. He retired as a Master Sergent with seven medals and numerous awards. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and active volunteer of numerous veterans clubs. He loved being involved in his grandchildren's lives and spending time with friends/family. Mendel was very active and outgoing and never met a stranger.

Kelso-Cornelius has been entrusted with services, which will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
