Nelson L. Jones, 85, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania went home to the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on December 24, 2019 at Quincy Retirement Community. He was born on November 1, 1934 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to John and Fannie (Myers) Jones. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Chambersburg. Nelson was an Oakland Raiders fan, Chicago White Sox fan, and a George Jones fan. He enjoyed listening to Gospel Music.
He is survived by his two daughters; Shirley A. (wife of Rich) Troup of Chambersburg and Wanda K. Jones of Chambersburg. He has a granddaughter, Stephanie Troup of Pittsburgh. He is the last of his immediate family He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary A. Jones in November of this year. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg has been entrusted with conducting the services.
