Anastacio Rodriguez Medina

Con gran tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro amado padre Anastacio Rodríguez Medina, quien falleció en paz a la edad de 91 años el 18 de mayo de 2023.  Fue un querido esposo y amoroso padre, abuelo y bisabuelo. Fue un gran amigo para muchos.

Anastacio nació el 27 de abril de 1932 en Dr. Arroyo, Nuevo León. Desde muy joven fue muy trabajador. Su viaje a los Estados Unidos comenzó trabajando en el campo. Viajó por todo Florida, Nueva Jersey y Pennsylvania trabajando en varios huertos y granjas agrícolas. Le gustaba trabajar al aire libre.

Le sobreviven su esposa Lazara Rodríguez de Dr. Arroyo, Jose Luis Rodríguez y esposa Aracely Campos de Monterrey, Nuevo León, Maria Rodríguez y esposo Abdy Toledo de Chambersburg y Ana Barraza (Rodríguez) y esposo Carlos Barraza de Monterrey, Nuevo León. Sus nietos José de Jesús Rodríguez y esposa Thania Aguilar, Nallely Barraza y esposo Alex Ordoñez, Stephanie Melgarejo (Saldaña) y esposo Gregorio Melgarejo,  Carlos Eliezer Barraza, Chris Barraza, Jennifer Barraza, Jade Santamaria, Dezmond Toledo and Elyan Toledo de Chambersburg.  Sus bisnietos, Emiliano Rodríguez, Camila Rodríguez, David Rodríguez, Ezekiel Ordoñez y Jahaziel Ordoñez de Chambersburg. Y toda la familia querida de Monterrey, Nuevo León.

Fue un esposo muy devoto a Lazara y padre cariñoso a sus hijos y nietos. Él siempre fue fuerte presencia en su hogar y les inculcó su ética de trabajo duro.  Todos los que le conocieron le echarán de menos. Siempre serás amado y recordado.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our adored father Anastacio Rodriguez Medina, who peacefully passed away at the age of 91 on May 18, 2023.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a great friend to many.

Anastacio was born on April 27, 1932 in Dr. Arroyo, Nuevo Leon. From a very young age, he was a very hard worker. His journey in the United States started by working in the fields. He traveled all over Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania working in various orchards and agriculture farms. He enjoyed working outside.

He is survived by his wife Lazara Rodriguez of Dr. Arroyo, Jose Luis Rodriguez and Aracely Campos of Monterrey, Maria Rodriguez and husband Abdy Toledo of Chambersburg and Ana Barraza (Rodriguez) and husband Carlos Barraza of Chambersburg. His grandchildren Jose de Jesus Rodriguez and wife Thania Aguilar, Nallely Barraza and husband Alex Ordoñez, Stephanie Melgarejo (Saldaña) and husband Gregorio Melgarejo, Carlos Eliezer Barraza, Chris Barraza, Jennifer Barraza, Jade Santamaria, Dezmond Toledo and Elyan Toledo. His great-grand children, Emiliano Rodriguez, Camila Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, Ezekiel Ordoñez and Jahaziel Ordoñez. And all our beloved family from Monterrey, Nuevo León.

He was a very devoted husband to Lazara and caring father to his children and grandchildren. He was always strong presence in his household and instilled in them his hard work ethic.  He will missed by those who knew him. You will be forever loved and remembered.
