Beatrice M. Guyer

Beatrice Mae Guyer, 84, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away March 31, 2026. She was born May 4, 1941, in Bloomsburg, PA, the daughter of William H. and Helen C. (Mensch) Sweigart. Beatrice worked for the Public Opinion for more than 30 years. She was a beloved mother and grandmother.

Beatrice is survived by two children, Linda and Wayne Jr; two grandchildren, Melinda and Matthew; six great-grandchildren, Freddrica, David, Destiny, Dynasty, Atreyu and Shiloh; five great-grandchildren, Omara, A’Zara, Freddie, O’Sian and Malia; as well as siblings, Howard (Linda), Terry (Rose) and Cathy (Robert) and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Guyer Sr, and two sisters.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
