Bette M. Bowers, 94, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away January 4, 2026, at Menno Haven’s Brookview Healthcare Center. She was born on September 11, 1931, in Chambersburg, PA, the daughter of David and Mildred Kramer. Bette was a member of King Street Church and of First United Methodist Church. 

Bette is survived by her husband Jack Bowers, daughters Barbara Lyons (Gregg), Cynthia Courtright (Michael) and Pamela Taylor (Willard), grandchildren Chris Lyons, Lauren Jennings, Jonathan Lyons, Kristin Ward, Jennifer Blackmon, Michael Ryan Courtright, Bryan Taylor, and 12 great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Bette is preceded in death by brother, Jack Kramer.

A memorial service will be held on January 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at Brookview Chapel, Menno Haven’s Brookview Healthcare Center, 1000 Northfield Dr., Chambersburg.
