Betty Louise Shatzer Leonard, 93, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away June 11, 2023. She was born on April 19, 1930, in Greencastle, Pennsylvania to Edward and Grace (Knight) Shatzer. Betty previously worked at Lewrene Interiors and retired from Letterkenny Post Restaurant.  Her and her husband enjoyed traveling to Hawaii every other year for the winter months. She also enjoyed crocheting and baking. 

Betty is survived by her children, David E. (husband of Pam) Leonard, and Alison L. (wife of Keith) Godfriaux, as well as eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William K. Leonard, Sr., son, William K. Leonard, Jr., and siblings, Cleason Shatzer, Helen Forbes and Lorraine Knight. 

A funeral service for Betty will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 1:30 PM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 1:30 before the service.
