Bonnie E. Byers, 78, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away December 8, 2023. She was born on January 15, 1945, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania to Paul E. and Margarene Shaffer.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter Suzy Hughes, her grandchildren and spouses Brian and Brooke Hughes who she resided with, Shawn and Sam Hughes, Kelly and Pat Antonucci, Kristy Hughes, Rusty and Lindsey Hughes. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, Addalyn, Kamden, Landon, Blake, Ottillie, Lorelai, Toby, Alyssa, Pat, Bethany, Bradley, Brayden and two of her brothers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Paul Byers, grandson Dusty and one brother.

Bonnie loved spending time at Bethany Beach with her mother in-law Rosie. She also enjoyed playing cards at the Greencastle senior center. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
