Bonnie K. Renfrew Obituary

Bonnie K. Renfrew, 83, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away July 8, 2026. She was born September 11, 1942, in a house in Shirleysburg, PA, the daughter of William L. and Mary (Book) Cowan. Bonnie was married to the late Edward “Lynn” Renfrew for 35 years. 

 

Bonnie was a faithful member of the Scotland Church. She worked at the Stanley Company for many years and also in numerous food service and retail jobs. She enjoyed sewing, camping, church functions, class luncheons and reunions. 

 

Bonnie is survived by two children, William Frederick and Marteena (Bobby) Starr; daughter-in-law Dixie (Calvin) Frederick; sister Mary “Peggy” Killinger as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Calvin Frederick III; siblings Karon Reasoner, William Cowan and Trudy Broxson; one grandchild and two great-great-grandchildren. 

 

 

A visitation will be held onMonday, July 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A graveside service at Salem Cemetery will follow. 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bonnie’s name may be made to the funeral home to offset funeral costs.
