Boyd "Butch" Kaiser Obituary
Boyd “Butch” Kaiser, 69, of Newburg, PA, passed away July 3, 2026. He was born May 28, 1957, in Waynesboro, PA, the son of Arthur and Blanche (Snyder) Kaiser.
Boyd proudly served in the United States Navy on the USS Raleigh LPD 1 from 1974 to 1978. He enjoyed hosting “Raleighfest” picnics at his home, inviting his former shipmates, lifetime friends, to his home for the weekend to gather and re-tell old Navy stories.
Boyd worked at the Chambersburg Hospital for 20+ years and then worked at Over Automatic Transmissions. Boyd was an avid Chevrolet fan and enjoyed working on his many trucks and cars. He could be found working in his garage, keeping up the yard or sitting on his deck talking with his wife Lisa, with “his daughter” Luka by his side, and enjoying his view. He enjoyed watching Nascar and going to the drag strip to watch his friends race. He was interested in history and anything military related. He was an excellent cook and was especially good with the charcoal grill.
Boyd is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Lisa (Bliss) Kaiser and his beloved Golden Retriever, Luka.
A private graveside service will be held in Morningside Cemetery in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Boyd’s name may be made to Tunnel To Towers Foundation, t2t.org.
