Carol L. Cummings of Chambersburg, PA passed away on September 17, 2024, in her home surrounded by loved ones.  She was born July 7, 1942, in Somerset, PA to the late Irvin Shaffer and Nellie (Morgan) Gindlesperger. She was the owner of Cummings Repair Service in Shippensburg, PA from 1976-2000. She retired from Sesco in Mont Alto, PA at the age of 77. She was a member of the Amvets Women’s Auxiliary for many years. She was an avid fan of all sports and Nascar racing. She loved playing cards, going to bingo and most of all going on road trips. Her greatest love was her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She is survived by her sister, Helen J. (Shaffer) Finniff and Linda D. (Gindlesperger) Geesaman, 3 daughters, Brenda L. (Zeis) Zeger and husband Steve of Fort Loudon, Cathy A. (Zeis) Reasner and husband Bruce of Newport, NC and Cindy K. Zeis of East Lyme, CT, 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and her beloved cat Gabby.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce E. Cummings, Jr. and daughter Rebecca L. Cummings.
