Cecil Eugene Friese, 88, of Chambersburg, passed away November 7, 2024, at Mercy House of Chambersburg. He was born on November 15, 1935, in Chambersburg, PA, to Kenneth and Louella (Rife) Friese. Cecil worked as an orchardist and farmer. He enjoyed riding his three-wheeler, hunting and fishing. 

Cecil is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doris M. (Fisher) Friese. They were married on October 1, 1972. He is also survived by his child, Cecil Jr (husband of Ariane), a sister Brenda Morris and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Ronald Friese.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., 725 Norland Ave., Chambersburg, with Pastor Dustin Dawe officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 11:00AM Friday morning. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
