Charles Grant Goshorn

Charles Grant Goshorn, 80, of Chambersburg, passed away May 20, 2026. He was born February 12, 1946, in Blairs Mills, PA, the son of William C. and Edna (Hampton) Goshorn.

Charles enjoyed motorcycle riding, watching old western movies, fishing, and hunting in his free time. He was a longtime employee of the Coca-Cola Company and Knouse Foods. 

Charles is survived by his wife, Linda Goshorn; three children, Jason Goshorn of Maumelle AR, John Goshorn of Chambersburg PA, and Amanda Swope of Orrstown PA; a stepson Curtis Bender of Ranson WV; 8 grandchildren,1 step-grandchild, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two siblings, Connie Bookheimer of Chambersburg PA and Bernice Goshorn of Shippensburg PA, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, William Goshorn and two sisters, Sara Hockenberry and Bessie Goshorn.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 50 Ragged Edge Rd, Chambersburg, PA. The viewing will be from 10:00 AM until the service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
