Charles David "Dave" Powers

Charles David "Dave" Powers, 55, of Lemasters, Pennsylvania entered into his eternal heavenly home on September 14, 2022, in Chambersburg. He was born on December 15, 1966, in West Chester, Pennsylvania to Reaber and Anna Powers. Dave was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His passion was singing about his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and seeing souls saved through his God given talent for the last 11 years. Along with his solo ministry, he also enjoyed singing with his duet partner, Jessica Snyder in their duo group, Cross-N-Country, as well as his trio group, Country Church Trio, which included Ann Cunningham and Jessica. Dave enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends, attending southern gospel concerts, watching his favorite sports teams and movies. Dave had a heart so big that it kept beating long after he took his last breath. 

Dave is survived by his wife, Christy Powers, his children; Kaitlyn (wife of Kelby) Kitzmiller, Rebecca Powers, Jonathan Powers, Shantina (wife of Shaun) Linn, and Shayla Harnish. He is also survived by three grandchildren, one brother, Jim Powers, and two sisters, Mary Parke and Dorothy Holston, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Jim Powers.
