Cherie D. Flaugher, 81, passed away at her home in Kissimmee, Florida, on Thursday, April 17, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. 

 

She was born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania on October 26, 1943 to Ken and Julia (Bowings) Gelsinger. 

 

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Andy Flaugher, her beloved schnauzer, Daisie, her sister, Karen (Gelsinger) Wagner, and cousin, Geoff and (Denise) Crawford. 

 

Cherie graduated in the class of 1961 from the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. Her beautiful smile will live in our hearts forever. 

 

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family by Pastor Mark Baliles of the Chambersburg Church of the Brethren. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
