Christian E. Meyers

Christian Enderman Meyers, 88, of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania passed away June 30, 2023 at home. He was born on December 6, 1934  in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to Isaac and Lizzie (Myers) Meyers. Christian served in the United States Army. He retired from Shippensburg University where he worked at the steam plant. He enjoyed woodworking, crafting and gardening. He attended Air Hill Church in Chambersburg for over 55 years. 

Christian is survived by his wife of 62 years, Deanna M. Meyers, and daughter Chrystal (wife of Bryan) Orr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Catherine High, Paul Meyers, Isaac Meyers, Anna Musser and Dena Meyers.

A funeral service for will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Air Hill Church with Pastor John Melhorn officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg, and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at Air Hill Cemetery, Chambersburg. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg has been entrusted with these services.
