Christine R. "Chris" Dysinger Obituary

Christine R. “Chris” Dysinger, 56, of St. Thomas, PA, passed away December 25, 2025. She was born December 20, 1969, in Anchorage, Alaska, the daughter of Regis John and Janet (Orbash) Suppok.

Chris attended school in Eagle River, Alaska until her senior year. She graduated from JD Darnell High School in 1987 in Geneseo, Illinois. Following her education, she went on to work as a bartender/server at Red Lobster and most recently as an office manager at William A Brindle Associates.

Anybody who met Chris knew she was a special person to be around. Whether it was her social grace, warm-hearted personality, welcoming smile or amiable spirit, she was able to light up even the darkest of rooms. That described the kind of person she was. Those that knew Chris, know she absolutely loved to fish. She would spend her free summer weekends somewhere near the water, whether it was wading in the local creeks for trout or waiting on the big bite from a catfish at Cools pond. She also loved her family so much, and was always very supportive of them. She loved cheering on her son during baseball games. Chris was inseparable from her husband. The two of them enjoyed shopping, traveling and most importantly, fishing. Chris touched the hearts of many people and will be missed dearly.

In addition to her parents, Chris is survived by her husband of 25 years, Michael Dysinger, son Hunter Dysinger (fiancé Niki Schussler),  brother Michael Suppok, sister Diana Bernier, nieces Morgan Hermann and Addison Suppok, and nephew Corbin Suppok. She is also survived by Mother in law Judy Dysinger and Father in law Guy Dysinger, stepson Austin Dysinger, step daughter Amber Hanshew, and 4 step grandchildren, August Hanshew, Xavier Hanshew, Ella Hanshew, Aubrey Hanshew

A celebration of life will be held at the Saint Thomas Ruritan on 1/11/26 from 11am-3pm. A private service will be held for close family members at a later date.
