Celebrating the Life of Christopher Scott “Ciggy” Brown
Christopher Scott Brown, known to all who loved him as “Ciggy”, was called home on January 16, 2025, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, at the age of 35. Born in Queens, New York, Christopher was the son of Alicia Fisher and Russell Brown. He was the fourth of five siblings; brothers Jason, Tyrone, and Steven, and sister Farrah.
Ciggy had that rare energy, always the one to crack a joke, lighten the mood, and make people laugh until they couldn’t breathe. He loved to bring joy to everyone around him, always the life of the party. Beyond his humor, Chris had a deep love for the simple things in life, cheeseburgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, cheesy eggs, Philly cheesesteaks, and mashed potatoes. These were his go-to comfort foods, always bringing him back to the things that mattered most, family, friends, and good vibes.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Alicia and Russell; his brothers, Jason, Tyrone, and Steven; his sister, Farrah; his sisters-in-law, Monika and Amber; his nieces and nephews Jayden, Aaliyah, Akera, LeBron, Taylor, and Amari, who he loved with his whole heart and his girlfriend Jessica. He also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and close friends who were like family to him.
Ciggy’s life was one of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. He had a way of making everyone feel special, and his memory will live on in all of us, every time we share a laugh or enjoy a plate of his favorite comfort foods.
A celebration of Christopher’s life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
Rest in power, Ciggy. Your spirit will never be forgotten, and your laughter will continue to echo in our hearts.
