Clara Marie "Tib" Pisle, 81 passed away peacefully with her granddaughter, Keisha by her side on May 7, 2026 at The Mercy House, Chambersburg,  Pa.

Born October 2, 1944 in Huntingdon Co. Pa, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Mary (Hershey) Hamman.

Clara married her husband, John Pisle on March 8, 1968. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2026.

Clara worked for many years at the former Howard Johnsons in Chambersburg, retiring in 2006. 

Clara enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, going to country music festivals and coloring. She also loved dressing in bright neon clothes and was known to sometimes have her hair colored purple, her favorite color.

Clara is survived by her daughter, Karen Smith & James of Biglerville, PA; daughter, Connie Grim & David of Ville Platte, LA; granddaughter, Keisha Hamman-Suggs & Donovan of Chambersburg, PA; grandson, Josh Hamman of VA;  granddaughter, Lisa Rowe & Skylar of Palm Bay, FL; great grandson, Landon Rowe of Palm Bay, FL; brother, Thurman Hamman & Kathy of Fort Loudon, PA; A special niece and best friend, Pat Truett & Carl of Chambersburg, PA, and many other nieces, nephews and extended family too numerous to mention, but she loved them all.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Faith Hamman, nine brothers and five sisters. 

A funeral service will be held at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Ltd, Chambersburg, PA on Wednesday,  May 13, 2026 at 1 pm. Family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA following the service.

The family requests that visitors wear bright, loud clothing or Clara's favorite color purple if possible. We hope to make this day remembering her a colorful one that we know she would love.
