Clydetta Marie Hensley, 56, of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania passed away July 10, 2022 at home. She was born on October 28, 1965 in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania to William Ledig and Avilee(DeShong) Mellott. She loved cooking and socializing and was a cook for many years at Greencastle VFW Post 6319. She loved her family. She is survived by her three children: Miranda (wife of Matthew) Rutter of Chambersburg, Devin (companion of Loretta) Hensley of Mercersburg, and Sharday Powell of Fairplay, Md., She is also survived by her companion of sixteen years, Gary "Nick" Toms of Mercersburg. She has eight grandchildren: Ryan, Natasha, Devin Jr., Eian, Skylee, Landen, Abigail, and Bryson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hensley and a brother, Todd Abbott and a sister, Yvonne Mellott, and a step-father, Donald Abbott. Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg has been entrusted with conducting the services.
