Connie Gates, 77, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away December 9, 2024. She was born May 13, 1947 in Altoona, PA to Michael and Naomi Bowers. Connie enjoyed crafting and cooking. She was a caregiver and dedicated her life to taking care of her family. 


 

Connie is survived by her husband Edward Gates, children; Belinda (wife of Dale) Giardine, Melissa (wife of Kevin) Grove, Tom (husband of Lisa) Gates, grandchildren; Shawn Gates, Jessica Boettger, Christina Grove, Brandi Joynt, great-grandchildren; Joey Mitchell, Raleigh Boettger. 

 

Per Connie’s request, there will be no formal services. The family is planning a celebration of life for a later date.
