Dale W. Runyon, 83, of Chambersburg, PA passed away August 24, 2022, at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born on April 22, 1939, in Milwaukee, WI. She and her husband Clement were married on December 22, 1964, in Basel, Switzerland. Dale worked for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in 2000.

In addition to her husband, Clement L. Runyon Jr, Dale is survived by her children: Matt Runyon (wife Barbra) of Fayetteville, PA, Michele Hawbaker (husband Michael) of Shade Gap, PA, Chad Runyon of Fayetteville, PA, and a daughter-in-law, Stacy Runyon of Fayetteville, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kyle and Cole Runyon, Makayla (fiancé Zeb Evans), Bryce, Lance, Grant, Kelsie and Whitney Hawbaker, Sadie Anderson (husband Keith) and Jessie Shoemaker (husband Nate), two sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, and a great grandchild due in November.
Dale was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Winifred (Woodcock) Horner, her stepfather Clifford Earl, a son Mark Runyon, three brothers, and a sister.

A memorial service for Dale will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., 725 Norland Ave, Chambersburg, PA, with Pastor Jeremy Lehman.
