Daniel Jacob Yoder

Daniel Jacob Yoder, 34, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away early Monday, December 11, 2017 in Chambersburg. Born February 18, 1983 in Bedford, PA he was the son of Samuel P. and Barbara A. (Sollenberger) Yoder of Chambersburg.

Daniel worked in construction as a mason for several years. He later graduated from the Chambersburg Beauty School in the class of 2013.

He attended the Westside Brethren in Christ Church, Chambersburg.

He enjoyed fishing, playing with his dogs and long walks in the meadow. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by a son Mason D. Yoder, a daughter, Elizabeth A. Yoder both of Chambersburg and a sister, Stephanie L. Broersma and her husband, Peter of Harlan, KY.

Daniel was preceded in death by a brother, Steven C. Yoder who died in December 1975.

The funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Westside Brethren in Christ Church, Chambersburg. His uncle and pastor, the Rev. James Sollenberger will officiate. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Air Hill Brethren in Christ Cemetery, Chambersburg.

The viewing will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 13, 2017 and 10:00-11:00 AM, Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Westside Brethren In Christ Church, 2665 Lincoln Way W., Chambersburg, PA 17202 or to the Bald Eagle Boys Camp, 1077 Wilderness Trail, Mill Hall, PA 17751.
