Daniel M. Zeis, Sr., 79, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away February 18, 2025, at the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born April 27, 1945, in Chambersburg, PA, to George and Eliza (Kaetzel) Zeis.

Daniel was a lifetime member of the St. Thomas Fire Company. He worked at Grove for 23 years and JlG for 15 years. He enjoyed hunting.

Daniel is survived by his wife of nearly 48 years, Judy E. Zeis. He is also survived by children; Ray Zeis, Hope Guise, Christina Egolf, Curtis Carbaugh, Craig Carbaugh, Daniel Zeis Jr, Melvin Zeis, and Terry Zeis, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and two siblings; Roy E. Zeis and Esther Graham. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by seven siblings.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Parklawn Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Brenda Doyle officiating.
