Daniel "Danny" R. Poe

Daniel (Danny) R. Poe, 55, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly at home on January 14, 2023. He was born on December 30, 1967 to Edna (Brake) Shatzer. He was preceded in death by his mother, his partner Patricia Adams and his brother Kevin Poe. Danny is survived by his brother Allen Poe (Susan Bagniefski) of Hanover, PA, niece Cheyenne Poe of Georgetown, DE, and several extended family members.

Danny was well regarded by anyone who knew him. He was a kind and caring person, was actively involved in his community and belonged to several local organizations. Danny considered his neighbors part of his family and was always ready to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed. He loved going to auctions and having yard sales. Danny will be greatly missed.

A memorial service for Danny will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
