Darwyn E. Stine, 86, Needmore, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at home. He was born February 17, 1936, in Greencastle, to Samuel Stine and Helen Goetz. He served in the Air Force from 1954 to 1958. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles, VFW and NRA. 

He is survived by a brother; Larry D. Stine, one son; Wesley Stine, and two daughters; Carla Johnson and Penny Misiak. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Casey Stine, Autumn Stine, Dakota Stine, Megan Misiak, three great-grandchildren, as well as his former wife and friend, Melanie Stine. In addition to his parents, Darwyn is preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys (Stine) Griffith. 

A funeral service for Darwyn will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 1:00 PM, at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, St. Thomas. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM and for one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, both at the funeral home.
