Donald Miller Hahn, 88 of Mercersburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born on August 30, 1936, in Frederick, MD, to the late John and Helen Hahn. He was preceded in death by his first wife Ramona (Snook) Hahn, and sister Mary Ann Stauffer.

Donald was a 1954 graduate of Walkersville High School. He was a lifelong carpenter/builder and taught masonry at the MD school for the deaf. He loved working in his garden and treasured spending time with family.

Donald is survived by his wife of 29 years, Harriett (Bussard) Hahn, children; Gary (husband of Ruth) Hahn, Darren (husband of Brenda) Hahn, Keith Hahn, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by two sisters, Carol (wife of Wayne) Freed, Bobby (wife of Dick) Anson, and one brother Galen (husband of Sandy) Hahn. 

A memorial/visitation will be at American Legion, 100 Keefer Dr, Mercersburg, PA on December 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Donald’s name may be made to Mercersburg Fire Department.
