Donald Ray Horsh,69, of St. Thomas, Pennsylvania passed away April 7, 2021 at York Hospital. He was born on August 10, 1951 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to Wilbur and Helen (Poe) Horsh. He was a longtime employee of Epiroc Co. in Fort Loudon, where he was a machinist. He was a longtime member of St. Thomas Volunteer Fire Company where he had served as chief for a number of years. He was a member of St. Thomas American Legion Post 612. He had coached and umpired Little League Baseball when his sons played.
Don is survived by his two sons: Toby (husband of Megan) Horsh of Woodbury, PA and Eric (husband of Lynn) Horsh of Shippensburg. He has two grandsons; Wesley and Preston Horsh of Woodbury and three step-grandsons; Kyle & Colton Watson, and Kaden Burnett all of Shippensburg. He is also survived by two brothers, Wilbur (Bib) Horsh and Tucker Horsh, both of St. Thomas.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday April 15, 2021 at 11:00AM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, ST. Thomas with Rev. Dennis Koontz officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 till 8:00PM at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be sent to St. Thomas Volunteer Fire Co. St. Thomas, PA 17252.
