Doris Pittman, 87, of St. Thomas, PA, passed away January 16, 2025. She was born May 30, 1937, in Chambersburg, PA to David and Mae (Rotz) Brechbill. Doris was a member of the St. Thomas Lutheran Church. She volunteered with the Salvation Army. She loved the cabin, fishing, mowing, snowmobiling, cooking, gardening, reading, and traveling. 

Doris is survived by her son Jeff Pittman (Sharon), grandson Judd Pittman (Tanya), great-grandson Jase. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Pittman and four siblings. 

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 7061 Lincoln Way W., St. Thomas, PA with Rev. Matthew Kayhart officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Doris’ name may be made to the Salvation Army or to the St. Thomas Lutheran Church.
