Douglas "Doug" Leonard Everhart Obituary

Douglas “Doug” Leonard Everhart passed away in his home on August 3, 2024, in Fayetteville, PA.


He was born in Martinsburg, WV on July 2, 1950 to Leonard Everhart and Pearl Kearns. Doug is survived by his wife, Karon Joy Everhart, of 31 years of marriage, daughter Alicia Codori, son Bradley Codori, and grandchildren. Doug is also survived by his sisters Mary Ann and Cindy, and brother Danny as well as his nephews and nieces.


Doug enjoyed spending time with his family, watching and playing golf and collecting Matchbox cars. He will be remembered for his generosity and his loving nature toward his family.


Doug served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War between 1968-1970 in which he earned a purple heart metal, among others for his service.


A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg, with Pastor Dale Lehman officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
