Edmond "Ed" C. Fischer Obituary

Edmond “Ed” C. Fischer, 84, of Pleasant Hall, PA, passed away April 14, 2026. He was born August 24, 1941, in New Brunswick, NJ, the son of Gene and Abby Rose (Reeser) Fischer. 
 
During his working career, Ed worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed rodeos, leather carving, hunting, his horses, and being on his boat on the Chesapeake. He had a tremendous sense of humor, was stubborn, but kind, and loved his family very much.  
 
Ed is survived by his children, Allison Fischer and Matt (husband of Danielle) Fischer; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Maryanne, his wife Irene, and a brother Robert. 
 
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg, with Rev. Dale Lehman officiating. There will be a visitation for one hour prior to the service.
