Edna (Myers) Ryder

Edna R. Ryder, 94, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away March 30, 2021 at Menno Haven Nursing Home.  She was born on February 7, 1927  in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania  to Boyd  and Blanche  (Alleman) Myers.  She retired from J. Schoeneman Co. after forty-nine and a half years of service.  Edna was a member  of Park Avenue United Methodist Church.  She loved taking rides and walks.
     She is survived by her three sisters:  Molly Shoemaker of Spring Run, PA, Kathryn S. Miner of Fayetteville, PA and Sally C. Crider of Fayetteville, and a brother, Ellis "Abe" (husband of Patsy) Myers of Amberson, PA.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ryder, six brothers and three sisters.  
      Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday April 6, 2021 at 11:00AM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home with Pastor Layne Vizthum officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.kelsocorneliusfh.com.  The family requests the omission of flowers and asks that memorial donations be sent to Park Avenue United Methodist Church.
