Edna Teresa Wright, 75, of Chambersburg, PA passed away in her home on July 4th, 2024.  

Teresa was born on Feb 20th, 1949, in Franklin County, PA to Charles (Charlie) and Evelyn Ewan.  She grew up in Chambersburg, PA and is one of five siblings; Richard Ewan, Daryl Ewan, Cheryl Ewan and preceded in death by her brother Charles Ewan Jr.

She married Alfred Eugene Wright and they have been happily married for 58 years.  Her greatest joy was their children and grandchildren.  She was the beloved mother of Dwayne Wright (and his wife Margaret Lopez) and her daughters Carol Wright and the late Denise Murray (Wright). Her Beloved 6 grandchildren (Casey, Molly, Jessica, Lindsay, Jake and Justin) and her newly born great grandchild Sage.

  Teresa took so much pride in her career, and she still worked in Human Resources at the time of her passing at Stewart Marchman - SMA Healthcare, Daytona Beach, FL., for many years as well as Citibank in Hagerstown, MD.

In addition to her parents and her brother, she is preceded in death by her daughter Denise Murray (Wright) in December 2023 and her granddaughter Casey Murray in 2020.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg, with Pastor Emmert Banzhoff officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
