Emma G. Yeager, age 86, of Shippensburg, passed away August 2, 2026, at Chambers Point.  She was born November 16, 1939, in Chambersburg Pa. to Samuel and Emma (Rife) Musser Sr. She was married to Robert E. Yeager on Oct. 27, 1957. 

Emma was a lifelong member of Salem United Brethren Church.  She had been employed at Kenny’s Market and then the Butcher Shoppe in Chambersburg for 63 years.  She enjoyed square dancing with the Shippen Squares, trips to the beach and spending time with her nieces and nephews. 

Emma is survived by her brother, Mervin (Janet) Musser of Chambersburg and her sister, Ruth (Cleveland) Forrester of Chambersburg.  She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Yeager, her brother, Samuel Musser Jr., and her two sisters; Dorothy Stouffer and Norma Jean (Jeannie) Bender. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Salem United Brethren Church with Pastor Chris Moore officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be held at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to Salem United Brethren Church, 4349 Letterkenny Road, Chambersburg Pa. 17202.
