Esther Fay Zeger

Esther Fay Zeger of Fort Loudon, died Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Quincy Nursing Home.  She was the daughter of the late Clarence R. and Mary P. (Robinson) Cordell. She was preceded in dealth by her husband John E. Zeger, Sr. and six brothers and three sisters.

Esther loved to cook and work in her flower gardens.

She was employed as cook at the Mercersburg Academy and the Chambersburg Hospital.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She is survived by her five sons, John E., Jr. and Michelle of Fort Loudon, Terry L. and Vonda of Mercersburg, Antonio W. and Joyce of St. Thomas, Stephen R. and Brenda of Fort Loudon and Donald E. and Stacy of Mercersburg.  She had 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
