Faye Elaine (Runyon) Helman

Faye Elaine (Runyon) Helman, 79 of Chambersburg, went home to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ on Friday November 19, 2021.  Born January 26, 1942 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Norman E. and Pearl M. (Jones) Runyon..
Throughout her life mom was employed at various jobs.  She worked at Stanley, Chambersburg Laundry, Pleasant View Dairy and for the last 24 years of her life she worked at the Chambersburg Walmart as an overnight stocker then moved to the fitting room.
She was a member of the Chambersburg Baptist Church for 46 years, where she sung in the choir , sung solos and taught Sunday school for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Kenneth E. Helman, who passed away January 21, 2005.  They were married April 01, 1971, she was also preceded in death by a brother and sister, Norman E. Runyon Jr. May 1989 and Nancy J. (Runyon) Welsh December 2003.
Surviving is one son Michael P. Helman and one brother Richard L. Runyon both of Chambersburg.
A viewing will be held at 9:00am with the service at 10:00am on Wednesday November 24, 2021.  A graveside service will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg, the Rev. Matthew Kayhart will officiate.
