Flora H. “Flo” Stake, 96, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away January 8, 2026. She was born January 28, 1929, in Chambersburg, PA, the daughter of Benjamin F. and Annie E. (Sheaffer) Harman. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Chambersburg. She retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in 1987.
Flora is survived by her daughter, Kimberly A. (wife of Michael) James; three grandchildren, Cynthia Carter, Sarah Jacob, and Laura James; great-grandchildren Easton, Addilynn, Amira. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Newton S. “Newt” Stake in 2020, as well as siblings, Richard Harman, David Harman, Lydia Ann Harman, and Jack Harman.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg, with Pastor Chris Schwab officiating. The family will receive friends for a half hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Norland Cemetery.
