Obituary
Franklin S. Nichols, 75, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away April 18, 2023 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born on July 14, 1947 in Hagerstown, Maryland to Jesse James and Armista (Rook) Nichols. Franklin retired from Mercersburg Academy. He enjoyed watching movies, going to yard sales and flea markets, and spending time with his dog Misty.
Franklin is survived by his wife, Linda Nichols, children Dennis (husband of Kim) Nichols of Waynesboro, Jamie (husband of Jen) Nichols of Williamsport, Maryland, Kristie (wife of Hubie) Hohman of Hustontown, and Robbie (husband of Brandy) Kennedy of Hustontown, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two siblings, Gloria Niswander and Rose Anthony. In addition to his parents, Franklin is preceded in death by a sister, Beverely Ann Brunner, a brother Jesse Robert Nichols, and a niece Carole Gahan.
