Frederick Kobus Obituary

Frederick R. Kobus, 82, of Afton, Virginia passed away June 25, 2021 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.. He was born on March 27, 1939 in Greenfield, Virginia to Rheinhold and Yvonne (Lane) Kobus.

Frederick is survived by his son Eric William (Michelle) Kobus, Sr., grandsons Eric William (Jennifer) Kobus, Jr. and Austin Caleb (Abygail) Kobus-Reynolds, and one great-grandson Emmitt William Xavier Kobus.

In addition to his parents, Frederick was preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy Crawford (Moyers) Kobus, married July 28, 1962, and his brother Robert Kobus.

Fred was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed woodworking and refinishing furniture. He worked at Benger Laboratory of the DuPont Company at Waynesboro, Virginia for 38 years.
