Gene Autry Heinbaugh, 63, of Newville, Pennsylvania passed away October 15, 2022 at Hershey Medical Cente He was born on March 25, 1959  in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania  to Gene  and Janet  (Ryder) Heinbaugh.  He served in the US Navy immediately after graduating from James Buchanon High School in 1978.  He had worked at several jobs, but he retired from maintenance work in multiple trailor parts.  He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. 
     Gene is survived by his two children:  Lacy(wife of Curt) Brubaker of Middletown, PA and Travis (husband of Megan) Alexander of Palmyra, PA.  He is survived by five grandchildren:  Alexa, Tyler, Julia, Gabriel, and Lilly.  He is also survived by his mother, Janet Wllmert of Chambersburg and his four siblings; Sherry Bingaman of Greencastle, PA, Timothy Willmert of Greencastle, PA, Michelle Helfrick of Mercersburg and Jodi Willmert of Chambersburg.  He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Willmert.
