Gerald Edgar Varner, 82, of Ft. Loudon, Pennsylvania passed away August 7, 2022. He was born on May 14, 1940 in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania to Lowery and Dorothy (Perry) Varner. Gerald served in the United States Army from 1963-1965. He liked to hunt, garden, and do carpentry work. Gerald was an avid coffee drinker and online auction winner. He was a member of the Restored Church of God, Harrisburg.
Gerald is survived by his wife Judith, his children, Jody (wife of Darwin) Burdge, Kathy Varner, Susan (wife of Kevin) Coldsmith, Joshua (husband of Tensie) Steck, Andrew (husband of Jessica) Steck, Roxann (wife of Mike Pfeffer) White , and Rosella White, thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Lowery (husband of Kay) Varner and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gerald is preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Piper, a grandchild, Ozwald Harrison Steck, his brothers, Gene Varner and James Varner, and his sisters, Jennie Carbaugh, Sally Wilson, and Mary Neil.
