Gladys Marie Griffith, 83, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania passed away April 23, 2021 at Laurel Lakes Nursing Home. She was born on November 22, 1937 in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania to Norman and Freda (Ryder) McLucas. She had worked at Sylvania Shoe in Greencastle. She attended Ebenezer United Brethren Church in Greencastle. Gladys was involved with the Senior Citizens Center in Greencastle, handling the memorial day program for almost 20 years. She loved to do crafts including painting. She was a member of the Martin's Mill Bridge Association. She had attended James Buchanon Schools. She is survived by her three children: Wesley D. (husband of Shirley) Stine of St. Thomas, Carla J. (wife of Charles) Johnson of St. Thomas and Penny L. Misiak of Waynesboro, PA, and a step-son, Terry (husband of Nancy) Griffith of Berlin, PA. She is survived by four grandchildren: Casey, Autumn, Dakota, and Megan and five step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Louise (wife of Harry) Stouffer of Chambersburg and Robert (husband of Thelma)McLucas of Greencastle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Griffith, her brother Paul McLucas and two stepsons: Dennis and Donald Griffith. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg has been entrusted with conducting the services. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donation be sent to the Ebenezer United Brethren Church, 6986 Guitner Rd., Greencastle, PA 17225.
