Gloria E. Arnold Obituary

Gloria E. Bucher Arnold, 85, of Chambersburg, passed away peacefully at home on March 20, 2025. She was born January 11, 1940 in Liverpool, PA, the daughter of the late Glenn and Bernice (Hebel) Bucher. 

Gloria is survived by her husband of 63 years, Rev. David A. Arnold, children; Rev. David D. (husband of Teresa M.) Arnold, Rebecca A. Arnold, and Peter B. Arnold, grandsons; Nicolas B. and Matthew D. Arnold; siblings Richard E. (husband of Ivonne C.) Bucher, Phyllis A. Butler and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Gloria was a member of The Open Door Church in Chambersburg, PA. She was kind and gentle to everyone; especially to children to whom she spent many years teaching at Cumberland Valley Christian School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher and friend. 

A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held on April 12, 2025 at 11:00 a.m with visitation at 10:00 a.m. at the Open Door Church, 600 Miller St., Chambersburg, with Pastor Carl McKee officiating.
