Gordon W. (Willy) Willmert, 78, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away April 20, 2020 at the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born on December 11, 1941 in Carthage, New York to Roy and Harriet (Oatman) Willlmert. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, hunting mushrooms and bluegrass music. He had retired from Corning Glass in Greencastle, PA.

Willy is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Janet Ryder Willmert and their five children: Gene Heinbaugh of Newville, Sherry (wife of Ray) Bingaman of Greencastle, Timothy Willmert of Greencastle, Michelle (wife of Brian) Helfrick of Mercersburg and Jodi Willmert of Chambersburg. He has eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
