Grace M. Reed

Grace M. Reed, 93, of Chambersburg, passed away June 5, 2022 at Orrstown Personal Care Home where she had resided for the past year. She was born on April 3, 1929  in Pleasant Hall, Pennsylvania  to Warren  and Viola  (Sandoe) Zullinger.  She was a homemaker most of her life.  She is a member of Crider's United Brethren Church for the past 73 years.  She loved baking, sewing, and doing her crafts.
     Grace is survived by her four children:  Diane (wife of Larry) Reed of Shippensburg, Delbert (husband of Connie) Reed of Chambersburg, James (husband of Melissa) Reed of Waynesboro, and Allen B. Reed of Chambersburg.  She has eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband,  Abram Brechbill Reed, a step-grandson, seven sisters; Mabel Gayman, Ruth Gayman, Mildred Zullinger, Mary Bricker Newcomer, Bertha Myers Snyder, Janet Wenger, Dorothy Brechbill, and six brothers: William, Paul, Warren, Roy, Orville, and Raymond.  
     Funeral services will be conducted Monday June 13th at 11:00AM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg with Rev. Keith Elliott officiating.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 till 11:00.  Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.kelsocorneliusfh.com.
