Hannah Catherine Young Estep, 19, of Chambersburg, PA passed away February 18, 2019 at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born on June 24, 1999 in Chambersburg to Richard W. Estep and Autumn R. Young. In addition to her parents, Hannah is survived by her sister Bobbi J Washabaugh (wife of William) and grandparents Cheryl D Young, Larry C Young and Dennis R Hurley (husband of Carla.) She was preceded in death by her brother Jason R Estep.
Hannah had a deep, adoring love for babies and animals. She could spend hours shopping and loved all things food - including cooking. She enjoyed the beach, lunches with her dad, 4-H, taking photos, movies, writing, painting, reading and music was always close at hand.
Hannah had the loudest, most infectious laugh, could make anyone smile and from the time she could talk she never met a stranger. Hannah was always a determined and head strong child and like everything else in life she met her addiction head on. Although she hit roadblocks, stumbled and fell she always refused to give up. She tried many times over to beat her demon, but in the end her disease took her. Hannah so often said, she desperately wanted to live a sober life, as so many do.
Hannah wasn't given enough time here with us, yet she continues to make us proud by selflessly donating her organs and giving other families more time with their loved ones. OUR ANGEL WILL LIVE ON.
The family will receive friends at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg, PA for a Celebration of her life on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 6 - 8 PM.
