Harold L. Appleby, 86, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away May 23, 2026. He was born December 3, 1939, in Lewistown, PA, the son of John E. and Delma Mae (Rhine) Appleby. 

Harold is survived by three daughters, Tracy Rowe, Ginger Goodyear, Kelly (wife of Jerel) Walls; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and siblings Twila Lee, Ernie and Flora Appleby, Charlene Waters, Dorene and Harold Pine, Judy and Barry Piper, and Christopher and Sally Appleby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith, a son Tony Lewis Appleby and brother Randall Appleby Sr. . 

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at St. Thomas Cemetery with Pastor Steve Barnett officiating.
